Best Dry Cat Food Online
I just got a new kitten. In the cat books I've been reading, some say cats should eat mostly dry food. Another book says they should eat mostly wet food in cans or homemade. Which is right?
I'm looking for a Grain-Free Cat Food that doesn't turn to dust.
I was originally feeding Wellness Kitten Health Dry Food (very satisfied / no dust) and when she was 1 year I wanted to switch her to a grain-free dry cat food. I switched her to Nature's Variety Instinct Dry Cat Food and I found it to be a very dusty food. I don't like the fact that the food you buy turns to dust. So I switched her food again to Wellness CORE Grain-Free Feline Diet and this turns out to be a dusty food also. So doing some more research I looked at Innova EVO Dry Cat Food and read some reviews saying that this was also a dusty food. CAN ANYONE RECOMMEND A DUSTLESS GRAIN-FREE DRY CAT FOOD?
Her main meals are canned cat food and she eats dry cat food as a snack through out the day.

It never once crossed my mind that since the food that I was buying is grain-free it would be hard to hold together, hence the dust in the bottom of the bag.
Grain-free dry diets still contain carbohydrates, from sources such as potato or tapioca as the starch in those ingredients is needed to allow the kibble to hold its shape.
I've tried about 12 different canned foods- from 50 cents to a can and she just won't eat it. I've tried giving her lunch meat and she won't eat that either! She only seems interested in dry food. What is the healthiest brand of dry food? I don't mind spending more, I just want her to be happy and healthy!

I just started giving my 9 month old cat EVO dry cat food. It is a more expensive cat food. It is supposed mimic the benefits of a raw diet and be grain free.
Has anyone fed this to their cat and how good is this food?

My cat has eaten dry food for his whole life (Iams) and I want to switch him to eating soft food. He has always had diaherea and I think maybe it's because he's allergic to something in the commercial dry foods I was scammed into feeding him. He is overweight. (Not the biggest cat you've seen but still is over weight quiet a bit.) I just had 2 cats that died at ages 11 and I think that dry food is the cause...
I went to Pet Valu and got Natural Balance Dry food (I didn't know which one to get him...but at least NB doesn't seem to have corn meal, gluten or by products.)
So when I got home I gave him a whole can and he lapped it up happily leaving only a quarter left. I put some dry food Iams on top of the cat food...(he ate those too)..it was about a handful and my hands are small (I'm a girl)...
So...I need to know tips on weening him off the Iams dry food without making him get diherrea or stress.
How many Natural Balance cans should I feed him per day and how many Iams dry food should I include to ween him off.
And is there a better brand at Pet Valu I should get?

I have been reading quite a bit onilne about what i should be feeding my cat. Right now I feed him mostly dry, but lately I have been giving him more wet food than dry. I heard that the dry food is not as good for them since they are natural carnivores and should not be eating basically meat flavored cereal. What are some good brands of wet food for cats?
How many kilos or pounds is the pack? How many cats do you own? Do you feed them wet cat food too? Now that it's summer we've switched to dry cat food for our adult cat. Flies inevitably get into the house and are landing on our cat's dry food. He's been acting more lethargic than usual and I was wondering if flies are able to lay eggs in the dry cat food? Thanks!
I try to always purchase the top-quality, premium cat foods from Petco. I'm very particular what I feed them and will never buy anything with by-products listed in the ingredients. I found all natural dry food online with the ingredients that the woman from Canada advised in my previous question on feeding my male cat decent food.
