Best Dry Cat Food Online
What brand and style. Mine seem to love Purina Naturals the most. I have one of those 2 sided dishes for them and I put a different purina style dry food on one side and Naturals on the other. They def. prefer the Naturals. What dry food do your cats love??
And PLEASE dont say, "what do you expect from cheap drugstore foods?" Because I just spent on a bag of food for my cat at the vet, it is Royal Canin, for urinary tract health. And when I got home I looked on the bag and there is corn ingredients in it. Its funny people say all cheap food has corn, Friskies canned food has corn products, but the cheap grocery store brand canned food I just bouoght doesnt have any. I was buying my cat friekies and the vet said it is one of the worst foods for causing UT blockages in cats! Not sure if it has anythign to do with corn but I am looking for something that doesnt have corn in it. I know corn is a source of protein, but this protein type is unable to be digested by cats. I was told that by a vet. Is this any better for my cat than the Royal Canin? There is no corn in this food.
I live in a small place in Nova Scotia Canada, nearest centre in Port Hawkesbury. I know there is a place called Tidy Tails that sells the Chicken Soup. I am wondering if my cats would take to only wet food. they like it but seem to eat more of the dry, and that does concern me. If you could help me find a place near me that sells the other brands you have mentioned I would really appreciate it! Thanks!
I looked at the ingredients in the Chicken Soup dry food. Is the starch coming from the white rice? I didnt see actual starch listed but I am wondering what ingredient supply's the starch

Cat sanctuary gets turkey dinner delivery From WKYC Channel 3's Newscast broadcasted 11/27/09. CONCORD TOWNSHIP -- In Lake County, 250 abandoned cats have a place they call home. Every room of the house is filled with cats. The sanctuary is called "Caroline's Kids." Ever since it opened two years ago, founder Judie Brown has been overwhelmed with the ever-increasing need to provide shelter, food and medical help for rescued cats. Thanksgiving morning, Joe Zaborowski, one of 20 unpaid volunteers, began visiting every room with a huge pan of freshly cooked turkey. The team of volunteers made sure each cat got a plate. Within seconds, the volunteers were surrounded by hungry cats, all eager to get a slice of the aromatic bird. Joe said that this is a labor of love for everybody at the sanctuary. Looking at the cats nuzzling his ankles for affection, Zaborowski said, "These are living breathing creatures. They have to be fed and they have to taken care of." Joe added, "People abandon them. Price, brand, etc., don't matter. I want to know what the best, most nutritious, vitamin-filled and beneficial cat food there is. My cat is 3, totally an indoor cat, has problems with hairballs, and will eat whatever (I've tried a few different dry and wet foods, all to her liking).
He is a 2 year old male. He was originally my boyfriend's but we now live together and have been for several months. He absolutely will not eat anything wet other than Weruva wet food in fish flavors or Weruva BFF, Solid Gold tuna, or Fromm flaked salmon. Trust me. I've tried all the flavors in so many brands, even the ones that are meat + fish together, and he won't touch them. He will not eat anything dry other than Innova evo in turkey/chicken.
So my question is... which is worse? I know fish and dry food are both kind of bad for the urinary tract, especially in male cats, but since that is all he will eat... what should I do? I've been giving him about half and half, usually more wet than dry, but if one is better than the other I will switch him to that entirely.
Also if anyone has any other wet food suggestions, I would love to hear them. He will not eat: any flavor of wellness, any flavor of natural balance, any flavor of instinct/prarie, any flavor of merrick, friskies (I prefer to feed natural foods but I was desperate!), any flavor of triumph, ziwi peak venison and lamb, evo cat/kitten wet.
I can't mix fish with other food, he won't eat it, even if it's one of his favorites.
He likes the stella and chewys raw freeze dried but doesn't like the frozen. Is freeze dried meat better than dry food? It's really expensive

see thats problem #2 with his eating habits... he drinks very little water (lol though at christmas time he was obsessed with trying to drink from our tree). Maybe one of those water moving fountains would help.
Ive tried mixing in water... he catches on immediately and looks at me like I'm an idiot. Though I'm sure like a spoonfull would go unnoticed... I'll try this tonight.
Yeah what he gets now is one meal of wet fish and one of dry turkey.
Also I've heard that fish can cause urinary tract problems, just like dry food. I don't know if it's true or not :/

I tried the raw. He only likes freeze dried but it's really really expensive.
He does not eat chicken. It doesn't matter if it's baked and not in a can. He doesn't like it.
He does not eat chicken mixed with fish. Just fish.
I work in a pet store. I've tried EVERYTHING, even things we don't sell here.
I leave the non-fish wet food out for him for 24 hours and he never eats it unless he's starving, and then he'll only take a bite or two.
I haven't tried warming the food up though, that is a good idea.
I have three cats and they all love to eat dry cat food. I buy them a new brand of cat food everytime they run out of the previous brand. I know its not healthy for me to be switching their food but they seem to enjoy it. By the end of the week, they seem tried of eating the same cat food and cant wait until we run out, because they know the food that comes next will be a different brand. So is it ok to do that, because they seem to enjoy eating new food.
2 weeks ago wednesday my mother let my cat out and she got hit by a car. we took her to the vet and he said it was really expensive to get the jaw that she has broken. we left it go and she eats wet cat food w/o a problem, but my question is, will she ever be able to eat dry cat food.

My cat seems to be very picky about the freshness of her food. When I open a new bag, she's super excited about it. But she has a small appetite and doesn't go thru the bag very quickly. As time goes by, even though I keep the bag sealed, it gets stale and she eats it only grudgingly. I'm trying to help her gain weight, so I want to figure out a way to keep the food fresh and tasty for her. What is causing it to get stale? If I kept it in the freezer would that help? Is there a way to vaccuum-seal the container? Any other suggestions?

I've been told its bad to constantly be switching your cats brand of food becuase its supposed irritate their stomach and possibly make them sick. I buy a different brand everytime I need to buy a new bag of dry food for my cat and he's never gotten sick. Anyone else heard this? Anyone know if it's actually a bad idea?
For years I've fed him Purina One, but I want him to be more toned & get a lil' bit bigger (so he'll look like a mini-panther since he's all black w/ yellow/green eyes), what are some of the best cat foods out there? Wet & dry, I feed him both daily. I just want my kitty to be healthy...he's 7 years old if that helps out any.
I plan on getting either Wellness or Natural Balance dry food, but cannot afford the expensive canned food (for a wet and dry diet). So please, which of these commercial brands are better for their price? Thank you!

My husband just reminded me that he buys IAMS for dogs and that is what I am thinking about - but I would like to find something like that for cats
I have one cat that doesn't eat the wet food. Another one that only drinks the juice. And a kitten that cleans the bowl. I was hoping to find a way to get just the juice for the older cat and keep the kitten from eating the wet food since the older cats aren't eating it. Even before the kitten came the wet food would sit until the next feeding and then be thrown away. So all we need is the juice.
